Referat pt. "Through-scale rheology assessment as a tool to support a design of thermomechanical processing of advanced metallic systems" wygłosi dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Muszka (Wydział Inżynierii Metali i Informatyki Przemysłowej AGH)

Streszczenie:

Is it possible to design a forging technology of a large scale pressure vessel for a nuclear power plant or a landing gear component of a passenger aircraft based on the nanoindentation tests? This lecture will try to answer these and similar questions by presenting the latest state-of-the-art achievements in the field of rheology assessment techniques at nano, micro and meso scale of advanced metallic systems. Examples of the use of flow stress characteristics of metals and alloys to support thermomechanical processing technology based on nanoindentation tests, plastometric tests in-situ of the scanning microscope or using advanced thermomechanical simulators allowing plastometric tests in complex mechanical states will be presented. Specific examples of the above-mentioned research techniques, often supported by computer modeling, will be given to develop thermomechanical processing routes for advanced iron-based and titanium alloys.
