The AGH UST Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology (ACMiN) was established as a result of a project subsidized in 85% by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational Programme Innovative Economy (OPIE).

ACMiN operates in accordance with the objectives and performance scoreboards specified in the Agreement of 11 May 2009 on the co-financing of Project No. POIG.02.01.00-12-001/09-00, called “Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology” (as amended), realized within the framework of OP IE 2007-2013, Priority Axis II (“R&D Infrastructure”, Measure 2.1 (“Development of high potential research centres”).
