ACMIN Seminar: „Advanced materials in wearable sensors for healthcare monitoring”
It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the ACMiN Seminar which will be held on Thursday, November 30 at 2.00 p.m. in the ACMiN auditorium no.: 1.02A, on the second floor, bldg. D-16 (Kawiory Street 30).
The lecture entitled: „Advanced materials in wearable sensors for healthcare monitoring” will be given by dr Saurabh Kumar (Department of Medical Devices, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER)- Guwahati, India).
Those who cannot be present at ACMiN on that day are invited to join the seminar on-line, on the Teams platform, at the following link: Click to join the meeting
The selection of sensing material and its properties lay the foundation for designing flexible sensors and carrying out reliable measurements. Sensing materials for wearable applications, in general, are expected to be flexible, biocompatible, electrically conducting, electrochemically active, and of low cost. These devices can be interfaced with curved surfaces, complex geometries, and soft and non‐planar body surfaces. In this context, materials and strategies used to fabricate skin conformal sensor that can perform non-invasive and continuous monitoring of health parameters like Pulse rate, respiration rate, EMG and ECG will be discussed.
