New Elective Course at ACMiN
How will the hardware behind the next generation of artificial intelligence be built? Can electronic devices emulate some of the functions of the human brain? These questions will be explored in the new elective course“Semiconductors in Neuromorphic Computing”, offered in English by the Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology (ACMiN), AGH University of Krakow.
Habilitation Colloquium of Dr Eng. Aleksandra Szkudlarek
The habilitation colloquium of Dr Aleksandra Szkudlarek from the Academic Centre for Materials and Nanotechnology (ACMiN), AGH University of Krakow, took place at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science. During the colloquium, she presented research on the precise engineering of materials at the nanoscale and the design of functional hybrid systems for advanced technological applications.
New Research Publication
An article entitled “Impact of spin-orbit coupling and Zeeman interaction on the multiple Andreev reflections subharmonic gap structure in nanoscopic Josephson junctions”, authored by researchers from our Centre, has been published in Scientific Reports, presenting new findings on the influence of spin interactions on quantum transport in superconducting nanostructures.
